Workpackage 5

Workpackage 5

WP5 Communication and dissemination

Summary of WP5 Objectives and Tasks:

Effectively disseminate VIVACE results to the scientific community, industry users, non-academic stakeholders (e.g., farmers, veterinarians, and policymakers), and the general public.

Description of Work:

Development and Implementation of Outreach Channels (Task 5.1)

A project website will be established to showcase VIVACE’s objectives, structure, and updates. It will include a blog featuring interviews, news stories, and research reports targeting a broader audience. Social media accounts (X and LinkedIn) will amplify these efforts by promoting project news, sharing updates, and engaging followers. Two DCs will oversee the blog and manage the accounts to ensure regular communication and public engagement.

Publication of Press Releases (Task 5.2)

Press releases will accompany each network-wide event and DC publication to disseminate news through consortium partners and professional media outlets. Approximately 15 press releases will be issued during the project, ensuring timely and widespread sharing of significant outcomes.

Participation in Outreach Activities (Task 5.3)

All DCs will participate in at least one outreach event (e.g., European Researchers’ Night), contribute to the VIVACE blog, and author an article for an outreach journal (e.g., The Conversation). These activities will enhance public understanding of the research and broaden its societal impact.
